Valentine Swag Fridgie

Worsted weight yarn (color A = red or pink, color B = white)
Crochet hook size G (smaller if you crochet loose)
6 small heart ornaments or charms
2 yds. 1/4" white ribbon
Finished size when stretched out: about 18"
With color A, ch 74
Row 1: Insert hook in first ch and draw up a loop, (insert hook in next ch
and draw up a loop) 2 times, yo and pull through all 4 remaining loops on
hook, *sc in the next ch, 2 hdc in the next ch, (2 dc in the next ch) 3 times,
2 hdc in the next ch, sc in the next ch, (insert hook in next ch and draw up
a loop) 2 times, yo and pull through all 4 remaining loops on hook.* repeat
from * to * 6 times. Fasten off color A.
Row 2: With right side facing you, attach color B with a sl st to the first st,
*(ch 1, sl st in the next st) 10 times, sl st in each of the next 2 sts.* Repeat
from * to * 5 times, ch 1, sl st in the next st) 10 times; fasten off color B.
Weave in ends.
Tie the ribbon into 8 small bows. Glue each bow to a "bump" above the
decrease stitches as shown in the picture. Attach each of the 6 charms
behind the center 6 bows with thread, leaving enough thread for the charms
to dangle slightly. Cut 8 small pieces of the magnetic strip. Glue a small
piece of magnetic strip behind each bow.
